The California Air Resources Board approved Volant Performance’s application for exemption of the company’s Cool Air Intake Systems it manufactures for gasoline engines. Volant was issued an Executive Order, finding that Volant’s Cool Air Intake systems for gasoline engines do not reduce the effectiveness of the applicable vehicle pollution control systems, and is therefore, exempt from the prohibitions listed in Section 27156 of the California Vehicle Code.
