• The California Air Resources Board approved Volant Performance’s application for exemption of the company’s Cool Air Intake Systems it manufactures for gasoline engines. The @ D-526-1 definately has errors as it list the incorrect part number for the other 8.1′s and lists a Yukon as a Tukon – the tech is not budging, PLEASE HELP

Unfortunately right now it only covers 2009-2011 models. We’re working on getting more make and model year vehicles approved. We’ll also be posting a list of the vehicle makes and models that ARE approved under the new Executive Order.

Jesus, our EO number only applies to certain make and model vehicles. We’ll be posting a list of what those are here shortly. Unfortunately, the Camaro is not on the list as of yet. But we will keep you updated once that happens.

I purchased an ’06 Chevy Silverado SS in 2008 that has a Volant CAI #15153 and my truck just failed SMOG Certification due to the lack of Executive Order Label. It’s in the database:
15153 00-06 GM SILVERADO SS 6.0L CARB Exemption (EO) Number D-526-1

I’ve tried emailing Volant customer service and received no response.

About 4 years ago, I purchased a CAI for my 2000 Nissan Xterra. This year during smog inspection the tech said I needed the CARB sticker. How do I go about getting a sticker for my vehicle?

So I picked up the CARB sticker but my car didn’t pass visual since the 2000 Xterra isn’t in the database, even though it is the same 3.3L engine as the 2001-2004. What needs to be done to get this car on the list? i’ve had the CAI for almost 6 years now and the OEM parts are long gone.

Not many options if you don’t have the factory intake. Once we get an E.O. number for the earlier models, we’ll let everyone know.

      Thanks,
