One of the benefits of the Volant Cool Air Intake system is the stylized lid over the larger air filter box. Over the years, the lid has changed from a carbon-fiber style, to a stainless lid with the Volant logo. The new lid for 2011 is a stainless steel with the Volant logo stamped onto it and with a black painted graphics and bright polished edge. These will be available on all 2011 model intake systems that utilize the sealed air filter box. For more information, contact Volant at 909-481-3888.

Great new intake technology. I had the old kind and you had to take the entire end off to clean the filter. Its so much easier to maintain and was a snap to install.
It has made such a difference in my Silverado acceleration, its hard to describe except , WOW..
